In general, I post mostly friends locked post. Comment to this message to tell me who you are and that you'd like to be an LJ friend. Also, I do have a few "public" filters, so if you'd be interested in getting into one of those, there's this handy poll. Enjoy:

Okay, I know that I have a tendency to just dump whatever on this journal without regard for who might read it.  Especially lately. . .

So, I'm going to create some new filters and then people can just tell me what they do or don't want to hear about.  I'm proposing an adult filter, where I might talk about stuff that some people might find a little icky (things like my mention about JimMc and his singular thoughts on MFM threesomes), relationship issues that are a little more intense for some people (say, my separation/divorce) and there was a third filter and I can't remember what it was. . .

At any rate, comment here (I'll screen all comments so no one has to worry about whether everyone else knows what kind o' dirt they'd like to hear about) and tell me what filter(s) you want to be on.

Bear in mind that you may ask to be in a filter, but that doesn't mean you'll get to be in it.  So, so far, there's an "adult topics" filter and a "intense relationships" filter.  There might be a third one, but damn if I can remember. . .  Oh, wait, there's one for MIB, so if you're an MIB and I don't know it, let me know, and there's one for people who get a very real, hard core version of me that is not for the faint of heart. . .  There are things in there that, if you ask  to be a confidante of such a nature, you need to not share with anyone else, even someone else you know might also have read it.  Not everything behind that filter is something I'm proud of nor want everyone in the world to know about.
